Content: IoT systems can be found in all organizations. They serve as cameras, door controls, robots, infusion pumps, and much more across all industries and sectors. Often inconspicuous, they perform their tasks while being connected to a network.
Because these systems are not always categorized under IT, the risk of a cyber attack on and through IoT systems often goes unnoticed or is neglected. However, for secure networks, a comprehensive inventory of all IoT systems and their vulnerabilities is indispensable.
Asimily and A1 Digital demonstrate how to shed light on this issue, focusing the spotlight on vulnerabilities and risks.

Participants will gain insight into which assets (IPs, FQDNs, data leaks, web apps, services, etc.) need to be monitored and how this can be accomplished with manageable effort. The different possibilities offered by open-source tools (port scanners, web scanners, vulnerability scanners, domain and web enumeration, etc.) and web services (Shodan, HIBP, SSL Labs, etc.) will be discussed, and a brief overview of our SAAS tool Offensity will also be provided.
